Paragliding Level 1 Certificate (P1)
P1 certification introduces practical; theory and ground handling and a written examination.
It is possible to complete a P1 certification course within 3 to 5 days and you can learn to fly solo with an instructor present. Our private courses are designate to meet your schedule.
You will fly multiple instructional tandem flights, received intensive ground school practical experience & instructional discussions. You will then fly, in what we call, a radio assisted flight for your initial solo flight.
Price $600 - for current students with Fly High Paragliding School. After completion of a "Discovery Paragliding Day".
Price $900 - without "Discovery Paragliding Day".

Paragliding Level 2 Certificate (P2)
After successful completion the P1 course you can look forward to P2 certification. From your initial course (P1) this full course provides you the opportunity to fully earn your wings. The P2 certification is all you need to fly all novice rated sites in the country and world –while it will take you through all required ground school in- flight training you need to fly on your own without instruction supervision. This training process will develop your skill and knowledge, and include comprehensive ground school on paragliding flight weather; reserve parachutes, equipment, risk management and other related topics. With the successful completion of the P2 certification course and the purchase of equipment you can continue joining training classes to refresh or perfect your skills, at no additional cost and begin flying solo without instructor supervision.

Paragliding Level 3 Certificate (P3)
FLY HIGH PARAGLIDING SCHOOL is pleased to announce their new P3 program designed to help novice pilots progress through more advanced skills. This program will consist of fly lifting air, and active piloting, you need to be involved in what your glider is doing, helping your glider flying trough the air more appropriate we call that active piloting. And an either an advanced kiting clinic or a ridge soaring course. It also includes presentations oriented toward intermediate pilots and topics required to pass the P3 exam. This ongoing program can be signed up for at any point in the year. Pilots have 12 months to complete the program.

Mountain Thermal Clinics
Schedule a private mountain thermal clinic to suit your schedule.
The purpose of this clinic is to improve a paraglide pilot's overall knowledge and skill of mountain thermal flying. The one on one approach will help the student get detailed information on local site reading and analysis, micro meteorology, thermal visualization and associated danger are some of the subjects covered in detail
The instructor will observe and critique the student's technique and recommend how to maximize their personal strengths and correct potentially poor habits.
Special attention is devoted to how a pilot can safely prepare and begin flying thermals. Harnesses fitting pilot body posture, understanding glider feedback and methods to increase control sensitivity are discussed as well
A midday tandem flights will give the student some first hand experience with strong conditions and help you understand the progression of those stronger conditions.
These clinics are built around each individual pilot and skill level

Refresher Courses
We also offer Refresher Courses for pilots who have not flown for a while, such as over the winter months. The emphasis of these courses is on ground handling, launching and landing skills. And fly lifting air the day (approximately 6-7 hours) $175. Private lessons can be arranged for an additional cost.

Discovery Paraglide Day
The Discovery Paraglide Day is the shortest lesson package offered. This package offers you a full day to discover the world’s fastest growing air sport.
We start with a discussion and videos on the mechanics of paragliding.
We cover the equipment, glider control, and flight plans. After covering the basics, your instructor will perform a demonstration.
Then you have the opportunity to try a simulated ground launch with the aid of your instructor.
We practice inflating and controlling the wing, learning the launch sequence, landing, and steering skills. Then we go to do an instructional tandem flight, and this will give you the real sensation of how it is to fly like a bird in the beauty of the Arizona skyline.
